Our school’s director emeritus and source of energy has his Masters in anthropology and swears his QWS fellow instructors are the strangest culture he's ever observed. When he is not off working with inner-city youth programs or outside the USA we are glad to have him around the school. His global travels have given him a true appreciation of all that kayaking can mean to each of us. He’s seen first hand how in poor economies kayak touring has been a critical source of earth friendly income and exposes everyone to how crucial water is to every single person on this planet.
